Welcome to theROOM LIVE 2027 — an immersive industry experience designed to take dancers and artists beyond the classroom and into the process of creating a LIVE SHOW.
For years, theROOM has created a space where performers can gain hands-on experience that mirrors what actually happens on professional jobs.
This edition is focused on LIVE ENTERTAINMENT.
Dancers will train, learn choreography, work with choreographers and artists, experience rehearsals and adjustments, understand staging and performance direction, and ultimately bring it all together for a LIVE ARTIST SHOWCASE.
Because being able to dance is one thing.
Being able to WORK, ADAPT and PERFORM LIVE is another.

theROOM LIVE gives dancers the opportunity to experience the demands of working behind an artist in a professional live-show environment.
This is not about learning combinations all weekend and going home.
You are entering theROOM.

The weekend culminates in theROOM LIVE SHOWCASE, where the work developed inside theROOM moves from rehearsal to the stage.

theROOM LIVE Artist Experience is designed for emerging and developing recording artists who want to strengthen their ability to command a stage and understand the process behind developing a professional live performance.
Selected artists will enter an intensive development process leading into the theROOM LIVE Showcase.
Artists can expect development centered around:
Performance Direction • Movement • Stage Presence • Creative Direction • Dancers • Rehearsal Process • Show Structure • Artist Branding • Professional Preparation
You’ll experience what it takes to move from simply performing songs to developing a LIVE SHOW EXPERIENCE.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to work with dancers, choreographers and creative professionals while developing material for the final showcase.
Artist participation is submission-based.
